MEMBERSHIP INTRO COURSE

QBC CONNECT TO LAUNCH SOON

QBC’s latest project, the QBC CONNECT Newspaper launches on Sunday 9th of May 2010.  This quarterly newspaper will feature articles, competitions, motivation, inspiration, book/music/movie reviews, interviews and more.  Produced by a dedicated team of professionals and distributed free of charge to 2000 people, this newspaper will help you “CONNECT” with the family at Quigney Baptist.

This project has been entrusted to Editor Frances Smith who will work closely with graphic designer Jean-Pierre Gonneau of Design Graphix.  Full Colour printing will be done by River Rock Media.

QBC DAY OF PRAYER

Join with the family of QBC as we spend 60 seconds each hour praying together.  Pray points for today are as follows:

Start your prayer day thanking God for His favour and blessing upon Quigney Baptist

7am-8am
Spend 60 seconds praying for the pastors of Quigney Baptist Churc

8am-9am
Pray for the ministry leaders of QBC – for favour in their ministries and personal lives

9am-10am
Thank God for all those who voluntarily serve in ministries at QBC. Ask Him where you should serve

10am-11am
Pray for the baby unit, educare and pre-school: Favour and blessing over children and families

11am-12pm
Pray for those in the congregation who are struggling financially, emotionally and spiritually today

12pm-1pm
Pray for PROGRESS 2010 conference and for Shane Willard as he prepares to deliver God’s word from 7-10 March

1pm-2pm
Pray against spiritual attacks against the church – pray warfare prayers

2pm-3pm
Pray for God’s financial provision to be increased at QBC. Thank God for the faithfulness who those who sow

Pray for the staff of QBC: Admin staff, school staff and maintenance staff & their families

Pray  for healing for those in our church who are ill in hospital or at home today

NEW MEMBERSHIP COURSE

If you are not yet a member of Quigney Baptist Church and have been attending services for a while, maybe now is the time for you to become attached to the church.  Join Pastors Dave, Mark, and Cindy for a four week growth course that will answer many of the questions you have about the Church, as well as kickstart your journey at Quigney Baptist.

The New Membership Course will run on Wednesday’s the 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th of February from 6pm-7pm, and you will be welcomed into Membership of QBC on Sunday the 21st of February.

HOMECELL LEADERS TRAINING & EQUIPPING DAY

New Homecell Leaders, don’t miss the training and equipping day on Saturday, 6 Feb at Quigney Baptist.  All new homecell leaders are required to RSVP at the information desk for catering purposes.

FAMILY CAMPING WEEKEND

FAMILIES, it’s your turn to have some fun together! Don’t miss the QBC Family Caravan and Camping Weekend at Arena Riverside Resort, happening over the weekend of the 26 & 27 Feb.  Costs for camp sites are R50 p/p/p/n  (own caravan/tent required) or R140 p/p in a cottage  (min 4 people sharing).  Space is limited to 12 families, and registration forms are available at the Info Desk.  A 50% deposit to be paid by 31 Jan.

Loads of activities for the family to participate in at own expense include canoe trail abseiling, quad biking, archery, obstacle courses.  The fun you create is free! See you at Arena.

LADIES RETREAT

LADIES,  a special retreat is planned for you!  Don’t miss JOURNEY THROUGH LIFE taking place at the Morgan Bay Hotel, 19-21 March.  Cost per R850 p/p – and includes Dinner, Bed and Breakfast.  A deposit of R400 is required by the 21st of February.  Registration forms are available at the information desk – only 30 places! PROGRESS 2010
